Sugar Cookies

We attempted to make "beautiful" sugar cookies. I'm not sure that they turned out to be "beautiful" but the kids had fun and they were yummy!

Art Project

Today Graham, Nora and Mom made Georgia O'Keefe inspired art.

Fossie

Sweet Foster Bayles Jameison went to doggie heaven today. He had not been himself for a long time and the vet found a large tumor wrapped around his liver and intestines.

He was such a good boy. He was our first baby but never got jealous when the new human babies came along. He let them lay on him and pull his ears and annoy him on a regular basis without even uttering a growl. His only vice was that he was a stinky boy and he would bark for hours it seemed every time the doorbell rang. We will miss him so much. We haven't gotten used to the fact that he's gone yet. We've dropped crumbs and called his name, gone to drop the bread crusts in his bowl (he loved that none of the kids like crust) and I've opened the door to let him out and waited for him to come. Little Olive will be spoiled rotten now.

RIP Foster Boy.

Run, Graham, Run!

Graham competed in his very first track meet tonight. He ran in the 200 and the 400 and placed second in both!! Pretty amazing for his first meet!!!
He was so proud of his new running club jersey. He's so cute!!

Cheer Camp

Nora LOVED cheer camp this year! She thinks cheering is just about the greatest thing ever. She did such a great job that she got the Best Overall Cheerleader in the 2nd Grade!!

SWIM LESSONS

Charlie took swim lessons in June with his two favorite girls, Molly & Maggie.

He LOVED jumping into the water...

and swimming to Mr. Kem.

He was so happy to be hanging out in the pool...

and kickin' it with his girls.

BUT every time he had to float on his back...
he made this face. He does not like it. He turned out to be a great swimmer though. FINALLY mommy can relax a tiny bit at the pool.
