PICTURE TIME

We've been trying for weeks to have the kids pictures taken. I love the look of the field pics I've been seeing lately but the weather didn't want to cooperate. We were rained out the first try. The second time we drove all the way out to a beautiful field in Owasso and just as we arrived a horrible storm showed up. Malisa did capture this one before we had to leave. Look at the sky!

We tried again the next night and it was HOT! Seriously HOT!! We got some great pictures anyway. All three of the kids did great and were so well behaved despite the 100 degree plus weather! These are the sneak peaks she sent me. Can't wait to see the rest of them!

Sleep Away Camp

Graham left for his first sleep away camp this week. He was so excited. He's been looking forward to it all summer long. I am a little sad that my baby boy is growing up so fast and I'm missing him a lot. I can't wait until he comes home.

Weather Girl!!!

The Suttons invited Nora to go take a tour of Channel 2 with their friend, Meteorologist Julie Chin!! They got to watch the news being filmed and learn about the green screen! Nora had so much fun and came home with lots of important information:

1. There is a kitchen in the studio.

2. Julie Chin has to wake up at 2 am to get ready and forecast the days weather before the news at 5 a.m.

3. The news people wear tennis shoes because you can't see their feet!!

Nora wore a green dress!! Not good for the green screen! Her bottom half disappeared!

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July. We went to the Abshere's with the Rackers for swimming and a cookout.

After the cookout we headed way out to the Kaiser's. The kids had so much fun running around their land, throwing pop its, playing with friends and riding the golf cart.

Nora loved them! Graham was not into pictures. He was off with the big kids shooting off fireworks. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. I was nervous!!!
